Specialist Groups
The L&LPS has 4 special interest groups, which meet monthly on Monday evenings, or on an occasional basis. Each of the groups has typically 8-12 members.
Digital Imaging Group
This is a friendly, informal group giving members an opportunity to problem solve, discuss and learn new techniques of digital photography. The software used is predominantly, but not exclusively, Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. Some members use a digital camera while others scan slides.
Venue: Oadby United Reform Churh, Rosemead Drive, Oadby, LE2 5FF
Time and dates: 7.30 to 10.00 pm on the 1st. Monday of the month.

Colour Group
The colour group meetings are varied and interesting covering diverse subjects e.g holidays, special interests and critique discussion of slides and digital projected images.
Venue: The Conservative Association, Westcotes Drive, Leicester
Time and dates: 7.30 to 9.30 pm on the 2nd Monday of each month.

Heritage Group
This group is open to anyone interested in the heritage of Leicester and Leicestershire. It is hoped to digitally archive the Society's 'Heritage Collection' of prints, magic lantern slides and 35mm slides; and produce a CD for sale to the general public

Studio Group
The studio group is open to anyone interested in portraiture and still life.
