Many thanks from the exhibition committee to all those who entered without whom there would be no exhibition. To all those that had acceptances well done, to those that were not so lucky try again next year.
Comments from the judge, Nat Coalson ARPS
“I'm very honoured to have judged the selection for this established and respected annual exhibition. The standard of entries was very high, which made the selection process simultaneously challenging and enjoyable. With nearly 800 entries and limited display space available, I had to make some difficult choices—I and the exhibition committee all wished we could have included even more of the submitted works. But, in the end, I'm pleased with the final selection and believe it represents well the high quality photography being done by the entrants. In particular, the photographs that received awards and commendations all exhibit a great deal of visual sensitivity and a strong sense of design, which are crucial elements of expression within a successful work of photographic art. I congratulate each of the photographers whose work has been accepted and recognised, and encourage all passionate photographers to intently pursue the never-ending practice of continually honing your craft.”
